WWE Raw Results (7/26/2021): Kansas City, MO

The show starts with Nikki A.S.H. coming out to celebrate winning the Raw Women’s Championship last week. Of course the former Champion Charlotte Flair has to come out and claim thievery and discredit Nikki’s bug win. Rhea Ripley comes down to the ring and thinks she deserves a shot at the title because Charlotte got herself intentionally disqualified last week. WWE officials come out and make the decision for a Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam for the Raw Women’s Championship. Tonight however we’re going to see Charlotte take on Nikki.

  • Damian Priest defeated Sheamus after hitting Sheamus with the Reckoning. This should put Priest in line for a US Title opportunity sometime soon.
  • Omos and AJ Styles retain the Raw Tag Team Championships with Styles hitting a springboard 450 on Erik of the Viking Raiders.
  • Drew McIntyre versus Veer ended in disqualification when Jinder Mahal introduced a chair that Drew Claymores into the face of Veer.
  • Natalya and Tamina defeated Eva Marie and Doudrop.
  • Karrion Kross defeated Keith Lee via submission with the Kross Jacket. No Scarlett by the side of Kross again.
  • Mansoor and Mustafa Ali pick up their first win as a team defeating Mace and T-Bar.

The WWE Champion Bobby Lashley says he’s not even going to dignify Goldberg’s challenge with a response. Then the WWE Champion goes on to defeat Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match.

  • Thanks to a distraction from AJ Styles and Omos, John Morrison defeated Riddle. After the match, Styles would hit Riddle with a Styles Clash.
  • Reginald defeated R-Truth to retain the 24/7 Championship with a flipping seated senton. Truth was mic’d up for the match which made it way more entertaining.
  • The main event saw Charlotte Flair pinning the Raw Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H. clean. Nikki hit her high crossbody but Charlotte rolled through to get the three.

After the match, Nikki challenges Charlotte to a rematch which Charlotte accepts. Charlotte then beats down the Champion as the show goes off the air.

That’s it for Raw, what did you think of the show?

WWE SmackDown Results (7/23/2021): Roman Answers Cena’s Challenge

SmackDown kicks off with John Cena looking for answers from Roman Reigns regarding Cena’s SummerSlam challenge. Cena doesn’t get Roman or an answer but he does get Paul Heyman who comes out to say the Tribal Chief will have answer for Cena on his time.

  • Finn Balor wins his first match back on SmackDown beating Sami Zayn via pin fall after a Coupe de Grace.

The guy who built Corbin’s crowd funding website ended up stealing Corbin’s identity.

  • Angelo Dawkins was able to defeat Chad Gable in from of the Rolling Loud Miami crowd.
  • Bianca Belair retains the SmackDown Women’s Championship after hitting Carmella with the KOD.

We had a nice little brawl between Seth Rollins and Edge. Rollins believes Edge has been taking opportunities from Rollins and skipping the line. Edge wants his hands on Rollins for costing Edge the match Sunday at Money in the Bank.

  • Toni Storm wins her SmackDown debut match against Zelina Vega via pin fall with a double underhook cutter she dubs Storm One.
  • Jimmy Uso defeated Dominik Mysterio via roll up with his brother assisting him similarly to Sunday at Money in the Bank.

Roman Reigns is out to answer John Cena’s challenge for a match at SummerSlam. After calling Cena’s act and persona tired and boring like missionary sex, Roman denies Cena’s challenge. Suddenly, Finn Balor comes down to the ring. Roman thinks it’s to acknowledge him but in fact, Balor would like a shot at the Tribal Chief. The crowd thinks Roman is scared at that may have played a part in accepting Balor’s challenge as SmackDown goes off the air.

WWE Raw Results (7/19/2021): Raw Women’s Championship Rematch, John Cena, Goldberg, and more!

John Cena kicks off tonight’s Raw to explain why he has made his return to the WWE. It’s actually not because he has a chance for a seventeenth championship. It’s because Roman Reigns is an asshole who needs to be knocked down a peg, his words not mine. Cena has an epic Bro moment with Riddle before Riddle’s tag match with the Viking Raiders as they take on John Morrison, AJ Styles, and Omos.

  • The Viking Raiders pick up the win hitting the Viking Experience on Morrison.
  • Jaxson Ryker defeated Elias in as Symphony of Destruction match. Ryker hit a superplex through two tables on the outside of the ring.

Charlotte Flair is out tonight for a championship coronation which is basically a gloating fest for Charlotte’s victory last night. Charlotte is so confident she believes she could beat Rhea Ripley again any night of the week. That comment may come back to bite Charlotte as officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville come out to make the rematch official. An unhappy Charlotte uses the opportunity to hit Rhea with a cheap shot on her compromised knee.

  • Tamina and Natalya defeated Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax after Tamina gets the pin with a Superkick. After the match, Reginald gets the blame for the loss and is dumped by Nia Jax. They leave Reginald in the ring. The 24/7 Championship contingent of the roster comes sprinting down the ring. Tozawa finds himself alone in the ring with Reginald who takes down Tozawa with impressive acrobatic moves and wins the 24/7 Championship. Reginald gets out of dodge with his new title. Talk about a turn of fortune.
  • Sheamus defeated Humberto Carrillo after hitting Carrillo with a Brogue Kick.
  • Bobby Lashley’s open challenge was answered by a returning Keith Lee who put up a valiant effort but was taken down after a Spear.

After the match, the music of Goldberg hits and the WWE Hall of Famer makes his way down to the ring. Goldberg gets in the face of Bobby Lashley and yells, “I’m next!” So it looks like we have our SummerSlam match.

Jinder Mahal is out to gloat about costing Drew McIntyre the Money in the Bank contract but things don’t end well when Drew shows up with a steel chair. Poor Shanky had two chairs busted over his back.

  • Karrion Kross loses his Raw debut match to Jeff Hardy who uses the ropes to get some extra leverage on the pin.  After the match, Karrion says Jeff Hardy just made the biggest mistake of his life.
  • Tonight’s main event which saw Charlotte defending the Raw Women’s Championship in a rematch against Rhea Ripley ended in a Disqualification when Charlotte left the ring with the title then blasted Rhea in the face while Rhea chasing her down. An irate Rhea beats Charlotte down and drags her back to the ring. Suddenly the music of Nikki A.S.H. hits and Nikki comes sprinting down briefcase in hand. Nikki hops up on the top rope and hits Charlotte with a crossbody for the 123. Nikki A.S.H. is the new Raw Women’s Champion. The show ends with Nikki celebrating in the crowd.

WWE Money in the Bank 2021 Quick Results

The following is the results for the Money in the Bank PPV. Full analysis will be given on the Ringside Rundown Podcast this Saturday.

  • The Usos defeated The Mysterios to win their seventh Tag Team Championships. Jey rolled Rey up for the pin and Jimmy comes from behind and gives his brother extra leverage to win.
  • The Women’s Money in the Bank match was a wild car crash that saw Nikki A.S.H. out climb the rest of the competition to grab the briefcase and win the match.
  • AJ Styles and Omos retained the Raw tag Team Titles thanks to the impressive power of Omos dropping Erik of the Viking Raiders.
  • Bobby Lashley retained the WWE Championship in an absolute dominating performance. I don’t think Kofi got more than one minute of offense.
  • Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley to win the Raw Women’s Championship. Charlotte targeted the knee of Ripley by trapping in in the ring steps and striking it with kicks to the stairs. Charlotte brings Rhea back in the ring then locks in the Figure 8 for the submission.
  • Big E wins the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, climbing the ladder and retrieving the briefcase after hitting Rollins with the Big Ending. If the Women’s Match was a car crash this one was a ten car pile up.
  • Thanks to an interferring Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns is able to retain the Universal Championship after hitting Edge with a Spear. After the match Edge and Rollins brawl throughout the arena. As Roman is waiting for the Ft. Worth crowd to acknowledge him, music hits and out comes John Cena to an insane ovation. Cena poses in the ring with Roman looking dumbfounded to close the show.

WWE RAW Results (7/12/2021): Last Stop Before Money in the Bank

The show kicks off immediately with Xavier Woods taking on WWE Champion Bobby Lashley in a non-title contest. The match was mostly Lashley showing off his strength. Like a predator playing with his food Lashley keeps the match going to make a point to Kofi Kingston. Lashley hits Woods with a Spear and still doesn’t ,go for the pin. The showboating would come back to bite Lashley as Woods locks him up in an inside cradle and gets the win. That’s right, the WWE Champion was just pinned six days before his PPV match. When we come back from break we learn that Bobby Lashley has left the building. MVP promises that Lashley will be in attendance tonight for an edition of the VIP Lounge.

Eva Marie and Doudrop were invited to Alexa’s Bliss’ Playground but things turn sour when more attention is shown to Doudrop than Eva.

Jinder Mahal tried pulling a fast one by giving Drew McIntyre his word back in pieces but Drew was able to get the original sword back and replace Jinder’s with a replica somehow. What isn’t a replica is Jinder Mahal’s custom motorcycle he likes to ride in on. Drew McIntyre goes crazy and starts destroying Jinder’s ride, ripping it apart piece by piece.

During the Fatal 4 Way match, Eva Marie and Doudrop catch the attention of Alexa Bliss at ringside. Doudrop tries to make nice with Alexa but Alexa is more concerned with scaring the hell out of Eva Marie. Doudrop comes to Eva’s defense and dumps Alexa over the barricade. The only problem is Alexa isn’t there when Eva goes to see the damage. The rest of the women carried the match and made it rather enjoyable. Asuka and Nikki ASH would have a back and forth ending with Nikki getting the roll-up and the win.

AJ Styles and Ivar of the Viking Raiders had a great match ending with a surprise upset and Ivar getting the win after a corner senton. Erik of the Viking Raiders didn’t fair as well against the beast Omos who picks up his first ever singles win.

Before their match Sheamus jumped Humberto Carrillo backstage giving Sheamus the edge. As for the match, it could be fit inside of a replay as Sheamus just hit Carrillo with a Brogue Kick for the win. After the match, Sheamus says he is going to break the face of Carrillo but thankfully Damian Priest makes the save to prevent that from happening.

Ricochet defeated John Morrison in a Falls Count Anywhere Match after flying through the air and crashing into Morrison through a ladder.

Rhea Ripley defeated Natalya after hitting her with the Riptide. Afterward, Charlotte Flair ambushed her Money in the Bank opponent with a chop block then locked on the Figure Four.

To close out tonight’s Raw we have a VIP Lounge segment with MVP and Bobby Lashley. The problem is Bobby Lashley is in no mood to party. Lashley kicks the women out of the VIP Lounge and absolutely loses it tossing all of the furniture out of the ring. Bobby thinks Kofi might be right and Bobby may be going soft. An intense Lashley vows to kill Kofi’s career and we go off the air.

So that’s it for Raw tonight, what did you think of the show? Are you excited for Money in the Bank? Drop a comment below!
